About the Program
At Santa Fe Mobile MD, we believe that healthcare should address the whole person—especially during the sacred transition at the end of life. Harmony and Healing is a unique treatment modality that integrates the power of music into our medical care.
We are proud to partner with acclaimed singer-songwriter David Berkeley to offer private bedside concerts and songwriting sessions. We know that it can be hard for family and friends to hold shared space during the grieving process. This service is designed to alleviate terminal anxiety, provide emotional catharsis, and help families celebrate the life story of their loved one. David’s songs are uniquely soothing and emotive, and these concerts allow families to feel and express their love and emotions through music. In addition to private concerts, David will be offering personalized songwriting for patients and their families.
Our Services

| Bedside Serenades | Comfort & Peace | A 60–90 minute private, acoustic performance at the patient's home, curated to ease anxiety and provide peace for the patient and their loved ones. |
| Legacy Songwriting | Memory & Meaning | Collaborative writing sessions. David will meet with the patient and/or the patient's family members for two 60-minute sessions and discuss their life story, values, or messages they'd like to express. David will then write a song based on those conversations and provide the family with a recording of the song. |
| The Full Verse | Total Transition | A multi-visit journey combining legacy songwriting and a private concert featuring the newly written work. |
About David Berkeley:
Beloved Santa Fe-based songwriter and author David Berkeley has been called “a musical poet” by the San Francisco Chronicle” and praised by The New York Times for his “lustrous, melancholy voice” and “melodies which ascend to benedictions and consolations.” David’s gift as a songwriter and singer is a unique ability to express the beauty and fragility of the human experience through transcendent melodies and philosophic lyrics.
